For those of you who have been preparing for railway jobs for a long time. Many have also given the railway job exam, but have not been successful yet. This is great news for candidates who have passed the ITI in RRB. Yes, you heard right, only ITI certificate holders will be given priority; this has been indicated in the notification.

Why is this opportunity so important for ITIs?
In some previous RRB Group-D recruitments, you could apply even if you had a 10th pass or other qualifications. In the draft notification of this upcoming recruitment, it is clearly mentioned “Only ITI”. This is a big tool, especially for ITI pass students. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has not published such a notification for Level-1 Group D before.
Less competition: If the vacancies are reserved only for ITIs, the level of competition may decrease a bit.
Specific Qualification – ITI Trade Based Eligibility
Specific qualification: You will get the opportunity to directly use your technical skills. That is, you can apply for the post for which you have completed the trade in ITI.

Eligibility:
Only ITI passed candidates are eligible to apply for these posts.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed ITI in the specified trade from a government approved board/institution. (Detailed list of trades is given in the official notification or above).
Age Limit:
Generally 18 to 33 years (relaxation for reserved categories as per government rules).
How to start preparing for the exam?
The RRB Group D ITI Test recruitment process will be completed in two phases. One is through Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Focus for CBT:
- Mathematics: Emphasis on the basics of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and parametrics.
- General Intelligence & Reasoning: Practice topics like pattern, coding-decoding, analogy, and decision making.
- General Science: Read the syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology up to class 10 thoroughly.
- General Awareness: Keep an eye on current affairs, Indian history, geography, economics, and sports.
